Alternanthera sp. Mini
Description
Alternanthera sp. Mini is a rather smaller aquatic plant which therefore looks particularly good in the front part of the aquarium. Its leaves are geometrically elliptical and have a leathery structure. From the color it produces a deep red that gradually develops into brown tones. So it is also well suited as a color contrast in the pool. As a hint, here again. Alternanthera needs a lot of light.
History
Alternanthera in German parrot leaves are aquatic plants from the foxtail family. They are primarily native to South America. They are now one of the most popular aquarium plants.
Maintenance
Alternanthera are very easy to care for plants and therefore also suitable for newcomers. But it should be noted that they need a lot of light and additional CO2.
