Description
The Green Light is a medium-sized aquatic plant that lives up to its name. She is a quick-change artist of color. It has geometrically elliptical leaves that have a relative density. So far nothing is known about the exact origin. Like many of its conspecifics, it will have developed as a rheophyte in streams.
History
Like all Bucephalandra plants, the Bucephalandra Green Light has its origin in Borneo and has been cultivated with good success for some time.
Look
Bucephalandra Green Light is of medium size and has interesting color attributes. Emers it has a bright green, luminous color, from which the name was derived. Maintenance
All Bucephalandra belong to the genus Epiphytes (perch plants). So Bucephalandra ideally needs a hard surface (hardscape) such as stones, bones, roots, etc. to be able to wrap their rhizome (stem axis system) around them. Bucephalandras are otherwise very undemanding in their keeping and care and can therefore be described as frugal and therefore particularly suitable for newcomers to the aquarium hobby. They are robust, require a medium level of illumination (appropriate lighting) and a temperature like in their home on Borneo, which is between 20 and 28 ° C. Ideally, you should ensure that there is sufficient water movement because they love it.
Bucephalandra Green Light does not require any special care and can be handled like all Bucephalandra. It is advisable to plant them in basins that have already been retracted.
