Crepidomanes sp. Malabaricum
Description
Crepidomanes sp. Malabaricum is a rather small to medium-sized aquatic plant. It is based in India. It is also known under the name Malabar skin fern. Crepidomanes is a smaller, moss-like fern that I like to attach to the rock on the banks of rivers and streams in the wild. All in all a very natural looking plant that does particularly well in natural aquariums. Also suitable for newcomers.
Maintenance
Crepidomanes sp. Malabaricum are slow growing. They belong to the genus epiphytes (perch plants). So ideally they need a hard surface (hardscape) such as stones, bones, roots, etc. to be able to wrap around them. It is fixed with a special thread or adhesive, which we offer for you to order here in our Buce2Love shop. Important: Do not illuminate too strongly, otherwise algae can form.
Otherwise very undemanding in keeping and care and can therefore be described as frugal and therefore particularly suitable for newcomers to the aquarium hobby. They are robust, require a medium level of illumination (appropriate lighting) and a temperature like in their home, which is between 20 and 28 ° C.
