Browsing is worth it!

To get a small overview of what you can find in our online shop window, we would like to briefly introduce you to some aquatic plants.

Anubias

Anubias is one of the most popular aquatic plants in the aquarium hobby. It is native to West Africa and grows there in the rainforests, preferably on shady streams and river banks. This is where it got its name from. Derived from the Egyptian god of the dead Anubis from the realm of shadows. In Germany it is known as "Speerblätter". Anubias is one of the epiphytes (perennial plants) that grow emersed (above the surface of the water) but also submerged (below the surface of the water). Ideally on hard ground (hardscape) such as stones, bones, roots, etc. to be able to wrap their rhizomes (stem axis system) around them. It is very easy to care for and has few demands, so that it is particularly suitable for newcomers to the aquarium hobby. Anubias is therefore always a good choice. At Buce2Love we offer different varieties for you and your aquarium.

Bucephalandra

Bucephalandra is our personal favorite plant, after which we have also named ourselves. Bucephalandra is now one of the most popular aquatic plants in the aquarium hobby and has long been popular with enthusiasts. The rationale is clear because it is really versatile and just fun to collect and marvel at. It is only native to Borneo. It also belongs to the epiphytes (seated plants) that grow emersed (above the water surface), but also submerged (below the water surface). Ideally on hard ground (hardscape) such as stones, bones, roots, etc. to be able to wrap their rhizomes (stem axis system) around them. In terms of keeping and care, she is very undemanding and can therefore be described as frugal and therefore particularly suitable for newcomers. Bucephalandra naturally grows very slowly, so that they can become quite rare. We strive to always be able to offer you a large selection.

Cryptocoryne

Cryptocoryne are, to put it bluntly, the primary rocks among the aquatic plants in the aquarium hobby. They are actually among the oldest and first aquatic plants to find their way into aquariums. It is native to India and tropical regions in South and Southeast Asia as well as New Guinea. In Germany they are called water goblets from the arum family. Cryptocoryne are somewhat demanding in their care and maintenance and are therefore more recommended for more experienced hands. This is due to the fact that it often reacts sensitively to changes. Safe and experienced handling of nutrients, general water values and the influence of light should therefore be present in order to enjoy the Cryptocoryne in the aquarium for a long time.

Eriocaulon

Our Eriocaulon aquatic plants are completely new to us in their own category. They are native to warmer regions such as Asia, Africa and Australia. Known to us as pipe herb. In the aquarium hobby, however, it is still quite new and has not yet been scientifically cataloged. It is therefore one of the rarities, as it is not quite as often on the market.

In addition to the three main categories, we of course also offer various "In Vitro" plants. Furthermore, ferns such as Bolbitis heudelotii, which are particularly suitable for background planting. A wide variety of mosses and ground cover, and of course every now and then rarities and collector's items for collectors.

For all those who do not yet dare to go to the aquascape, we offer beautiful Wabi Kusas designed with love and competence. These are real eye-catchers for the home and also an ideal and individual gift idea.

And now we wish you a lot of fun browsing and finding what you are looking for.
