Bucephalandra sp. Red Seranade is a small to medium-sized aquatic plant. Its name could be derived from the word "serenade", which stands for evening serenade. Now this Bucephalandra will certainly not emit orchestral tones, but if you look at the photo and let a little imagination flow into it, you can already see a very light and filigree appearance. The Bucephalandra sp. Like all Bucephalandra plants, Red Seranade has its origin in Borneo and has been cultivated with great success for some time.
 

Bucephalandra sp. Red Seranade is one of the small to medium-sized representatives of its kind and is well suited for the middle area of ​​the pelvis. She wears geometrically oval-shaped leaves that have a beautiful linear grain, as you can see very well in the photo. From the color it brings out bright red nuances that have a certain depth, so that this aquatic plant can also be positioned perfectly as a contrasting plant. A red beauty full of mysticism and elegance that you simply want to have in your aquarium.
 

All Bucephalandra belong to the genus Epiphytes (perch plants). So Bucephalandra ideally needs a hard surface (hardscape) such as stones, bones, roots, etc. to be able to wrap their rhizome (stem axis system) around them. Bucephalandras are otherwise very undemanding in their keeping and care and can therefore be described as frugal and therefore particularly suitable for newcomers to the aquarium hobby. They are robust, require a medium level of illumination (appropriate lighting) and a temperature like in their home on Borneo, which is between 20 and 28 ° C. Ideally, you should ensure that there is sufficient water movement because they love it.
 
The Bucephalandra offered here does not require any special care and can be handled like all Bucephalandras. It is advisable to plant them in basins that have already been retracted.

Bucephalandra naturally grows very slowly, so that the plants become real rarities and thus a collector's item that you can have a lot of fun with.
