Piper Clypeolatum
description
Piper Clypeolatum is a small to medium-sized plant. Their name is derived from pepper, which can be traced back to their plant family. Their leaves are geometrically rounded and oval in shape. As is typical for this type of plant, its leaves grow fan-like and densely. The leaf structure is medium-strong and runs linearly towards the leaf tip. The color it brings out a beautiful black-gray, which actually reminds a little of allspice grains. They look a bit like having a layered coating, which you can see very well in the photo. A really beautiful plant that also makes a good contrasting plant because of its color.
Special
What is special is not only its rarity, but also the exoticism that you can clearly see on it. Its evolutionary course and its subtropical origin from the depths of the jungle can be seen with the naked eye.
It does very well, for example, in a Wabi-Kusa or in a paludarium.
Without a doubt, these nicely decorated will become an eye-catcher!
useful information
Piper Clypeolatum belongs to the Piperaceae family, which are also known in Germany as pepper, pepper plants or pepper vines. There are between 1000 and 2000 subspecies, all of which have not yet been scientifically and botanically cataloged. These species, which show up in herbs, tendrils and shrubs, are also of economic interest to the locals. Historically, they have been around for a very long time, and the path to cultivation is relatively new.
A very interesting jungle plant for everyone who wants to bring a natural exoticism into their living space.
